Good day. please i am doing an evaluation of the current and future water demand in a river basin in northern Nigeria using WEAP Model.How do i use WEAP software to calculate the potential water available within the river basin. What data will i require for this? Thank you

Hi Idris,
This is the problem of hydrology to estimate of a river basin potential. I highly recommend you study and follow the fundamental of hydrology, then use the WEAP model to apply this issue. In the WEAP, you can use the Catchment Delineation model and different methods of rainfall-runoff to estimate of river basin potential. Also, I recommend studying the WEAP tutorial and technical manual.
