Dear WEAP Support Team,

I am writing to ask for your assistance regarding an issue encountered after upgrading WEAP from version 2024.0 to 2025.0.

After installing WEAP 2025 (both by upgrading and by clean installation), the software can open my existing area model successfully, but an error occurs when running the calculation:

Error: Integer overflow
Type: EIntOverflow
File: GeneralUnit.pas
Module: GeneralUnit
Line: 553
Process: Generalunit::Checksum

When I revert to WEAP 2024, the model can be opened normally, but it cannot run because of the following message:

License for XA linear program (LP) solver has expired.

Therefore, I would like to ask:

Is this “Integer overflow” a known issue or compatibility problem in WEAP 2025 when running models created in previous versions?

How can I fix or bypass this error so the model can run properly in WEAP 2025?

If WEAP 2024 is more stable, is there any way to renew or reactivate the XA LP solver license for continued use?

The problem occurs across multiple models that previously ran correctly in WEAP 2024. I can provide model files if needed for diagnosis.

Thank you very much for your help and support.

Best regards,
Zhang

I apologize for this error. I think the issue might be related to Chinese characters. Can you please try changing the language in WEAP to English (on the menu: Area, Language, English) to see if that fixes the problem?

I will fix the issue in the next version of WEAP, which I hope to post by the end of October 2025.

Best regards,
Jack
