I am facing a problem related to the visualization of input data in the ReadFromFile Expression area. When I set the time step to 'Annual' and enter data for both Demand and Head Flow, no plot of the input data is generated in the ReadFromFile Expression window. However, when I change the time step to 'Monthly' using the same dataset, a plot appears.

Could anyone please clarify whether it is acceptable to proceed without the input data plot in the ReadFromFile Expression area when using the annual time step, or if this indicates a potential issue in my setup?

Any guidance or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

To see how WEAP is inputting the data, you can go to the Expression in the Data Tree and then click in the top left on Edit --> Calculate Now. Then, you can see a Chart or switch to a Table in the lower right. This will let you see the values that WEAP is using.

I just tried to open my monthly file using an annual timestep and got the following message from WEAP. "Expected: for an annual file, column one is year (each line a different year in increasing order,) OR, for a sub-annual file, column one is year and column two is timestep number in increasing order.

To do this, you would set the column header to $Column = Year and, if you wish, $Column = Timestep.
