In celebration of this achievement and the 35th anniversary of WEAP, we are hosting an online WEAP 50K celebration. The event will include a panel of long-time WEAP users, as well as video contributions from our global community of users. More details will be coming soon. In the meantime, please mark your calendars for the event:

Part of the work we do at the Stockholm Environment Institute is to provide training opportunities and technical support in the use of WEAP globally. With an ever-growing user base spanning 194 countries, there is an increasing demand for training and services at reduced or no cost. However, as a non-profit, meeting the demand for subsidized training has become more difficult as we have more and more users with limited resources. This is where you come in!
Knowing that we have such a robust and dedicated community of users, we are launching the opportunity to DONATE to the WEAP platform to support our work where it is needed most. If you would like to support this important work, you can donate below. We will be updating the specific projects or initiatives to which you can donate periodically based on evolving areas of research and need globally. Our first focus is Building Capacity for Africa: Empowering Communities for Water and Food Security
