dear friends
I am modelling the river bassin ,ihave put the climate parameter like precip, temp, humid, wind, and land parametre in the reference scenario.
Ihave a good calibration of the scenario from 2000 t0 2009 but unfortunetely a bad validation from 2010 t0 2015, please can you guide me to solve this problem
thanks in advance

Bekhta and others who may be interested in the answer-

Calibration is challenging. If you are getting strong calibration results, but poor validation results, I could think of two reasons. One reason is that you have achieved valid results for calibration, but you have not captured the underlying processes accurately. If you are using the Soil Moisture Method, you should look at the Soil Moisture (Z1, Z2) results to see if they make sense. The other reason could be if conditions in your watershed changed during those later years and you have not captured the change in your model.

Apologies for not getting back to you originally.
