Please kindly can someone guide me on how to determine water demand pattern of a town using WEAP (what do you consider in determining water demand pattern?)

Hi Patrick,
Your question is not clear. Usually, we use the demand and its pattern as an input parameter in the model for allocation and scenario analysis. If you want to extract a demand pattern using WEAP, I think you have to breakdown the demand community or sectors to small ones, then put your parameters and coefficients of demand to determine the pattern.

Thank you for the Reply, My interest is to determine the Urban Water demand pattern in the different demand communities or sectors am considering within the urban area.
The Other concern I have is How do I consider the Effect of change in the population during day and night as this urban area am conisdering if highly populated around 2.5- 3.5 million people during day but at night normalises to around 1.5 million peopel

Since WEAP can only be ran on a daily timestep at finest, to model differences between day and night demand, you would have to calculate estimated average daily demand by considering the magnitude of the day and night demands by the hours of each.
