Hello,

I want to modify some equations of soil moisture method in the WEAP software. For example, I want to change the equation of ET actual or groundwater recharge and etc. Moreover, I want to add extra equations based on my idea. After that, by using the modified equations and extra equations, the WEAP software calculates water balance components in the root zone. How can I change the equations in the WEAP? Is WEAP an open source program?

To customize equations in WEAP-

In general, you can create custom variables in WEAP by right clicking on a list of the variables and selecting "Create". If you right click and select "Edit", you can edit existing variables, though some may be greyed out and are unable to be edited.

In the case of reference ET for the soil moisture method, you could create a custom variable for your desired input ET and then use the ETRef Multiplier variable to force the values to match your desired input values.
