Dear WEAP users,
In the Soil Moisture Model, I have groundwater that recharge from catchment and river and discharge to river. In this case, which method should I use (Specify GW-SW flows or Model GW-SW flows)?

Dear Jamal,
It depends on the information you have about the system. I recommend following the hydrology module in the WEAP tutorial to understand what kind of information you would need (basically volume interactions between the groundwater and river, but more specific than just that). If you model it, remember to calibrate it.
If you are approximating interactions between the river and the aquifer, it's possible that specifying the GW-SW flows will be the best was to approximate the system. But again, it depends on your data and what other data is available.
