Subject: How to select Year and Time Step

Dear All,

I want to use WEAP MOdel only for two cropping seasons and current account year is April 2012 and Last year of scenario is March 2013. I selected 2012 as start year and and 2013 as end year in their relavent fields, I also select Calender months and start of year is from the month of April. But when I enter the data of all the parameters in the model from April 2012 to March 2013 and click on Results View it shows the results from April 2011 instead of April 2012. But why? Please let me know.
I again note that in th Year and Time step window when i select the required years, in this window at lower right corner there was written "The study period will run from April 2011 to March 2013" but I don't select 2011, When I select 2013 as start and end year it gives me the result from my required duration which is April 2012-March2013.
Please give your comments to resolve it.

By convention, if the water year starts after January, then the year number of the water year is the year in which the water year ENDS. Just as you've found, if you want the study to run from April 2012 - March 2013, you would set the water year to start in April, and both the Current Accounts year and the last year of the scenario is 2013. It is not possible in WEAP to use the year that the water year STARTS as the name of the water year.
