Subject: Modelling Issues with Transmission Links

There are two rivers in my area. In winter, the whole flow from the first one is diverted to the second one. But in summer only a part of the first one is diverted to the second one and the rest of the fow continues in the initial route. If I use a diversion to simulate this, then the maximum flow diverted has to be in m3/s by default, whereas the flows in the rivers are expressed in m3/month. If I use a transmission link instead, WEAP lets me have the maximum flow in m3/month and of course I can choose which months to trasfer wateer from one river to the other. Should I go for this solution instead of the diversion?
