I have just started a PhD research, in Marrakech/Morocco, focusing in the hydroecological processes, the vulnerability and adaptation of groundwater to climate change in Tensift watershed (near Marrakech). I am still working on the evaluation version of the WEAP using its excellent Tutorial. I found the difficulty of creating mathematical expressions; I received expressions not always validated.
I am very khankful for any advice and support.

Well...
it's really hard that someone try to learn you everything. it needs some try and error. but I can make some advices...
In expression builder you may find two TABS which "Branches" and the other is "Functions".
Assume that you have to write some usual programing with BASIC.
after that, you have a very useful option by clicking "Verify". In this case you can check your expression.
I leave you this advice that try expression builder by some very simple "Mathematics" functions.
