Hi all,

Please, Where can I put the demand sites (Agriculture, Domestic, industry) on the river Nile inside Egypt? because the streamflow is different and so sensitive to the demand site's location. In addition, the demand sites are extended along the river in Egypt.

Thank you
Ms. Anne Hereford

Dear Mido,
As long as you are not asking WEAP to calculate water quality, the exact location of your demand sites is unimportant. What IS important is that they are in the correct positions relative to each other. As in all models, we are limited by the data available. You should arrange the relative positions of the withdrawals and returns of your demand sites according to the most accurate data available to you.
