Estimados, estoy modelando una cuenca andina regulada que esta ubicada en Ecuador, estoy utilizando el método de humedad del suelo, ingreso ya los datos de precipitacion, temperatura, humedad relativa y viento que dispongo de la zona de estudio, pero tengo dudas al calibrar:
1. Quisera saber si en el catchment ingreso series de caudales en caudal de cabecera o solo ingreso series de caudales en los medidores de caudal para obtener mis caudales simulados..??
2. Para la validación de la cuenca se ingresa los caudales de cabecera...?

Dear Karina,
While you can use gauge data to tell WEAP the flow of the river, Streamflow Gauge objects (medidores de caudal) do not affect modeled streamflow and are meant only to compare the simulated flows with the observed historical data. This comparison is usually a main component of model calibration. To give your rivers flow that will be dynamically modeled in WEAP based on inputs and outputs you set up, you can either enter Headflow data for the river or have WEAP model the inflow by using catchments and inputting climate and area data along with soil/subsurface hydrological parameters.
