Hello,
If I am working on the planning level and is suggesting to provide the reservoir, then how to how to get the hydropower generation results. I want to know what values should I enter in Maximum turbine flow required for generating hydropower and also how should I fix the tailwater elevation?
The maximum turbine flow and tailwater elevation are both physical attributes of the reservoir. If the reservoir you are modeling is already built, you should find out what those measurements are. If the reservoir is not already built, the engineering design should have some information about these parameters.
The values that you enter will be very important in determining the hydropower generation, so if you want to produce accurate generation estimates, these parameters will need to be as accurate as possible.
