I'm just started to learn Weap for my bachelor degree project. Basically I'm following the weap tutorial. My objective is to consider only about the BOD5. In this tutorial, first started from the river physical tab including flow stage width. Is that necessary to go through those data to modeling a river quality plan?

Dear Bhathiya,

The flow-stage-width data enable WEAP to calculate the residence time of different contaminants in the river. As you know, contaminants change over time, so calculating residence time is an important aspect of modeling water quality.
