Good afternoon. Help me. When working in program tutorial I have a mistake. This error occurs in Basic Tools section, paragraph 2.Creating Reference to Key Assumption. Can you explain why there is such an error? The error looks like this: ``` Circular branch/variable reference

Without seeing your screen, my guess is that you have linked a key assumption to itself - effectively you have told WEAP to look in a place for a value, but when it goes there to look, it has instructions to look in that place for the value. So WEAP is going in circles trying to find the value.
Also though, looking at the txt you've written out - have you connected the Key/Unit Domestic Water Use with the variable Annual Activity Level? Because the Key/Unit Domestic Water Use should be connected with "Annual Water Use Rate" in the demand site.
Why don't you tell me:
What is the text entered for the Annual Activity Level?
What is the text entered for the Annual Water Use Rate?
What is the text entered for Key/Unit Domestic Water Use?

i would like to ask you that. i have 55 years of data inflow (from 1961-2015), so current scenario is 1961 and reference scenario from 1962-2015.
i want to know that how hydropower generation of reservoir downstream and flow of gauge on river change when build a new reservoir upstream for current scenario and reference scenario.
i already setup weap model but result of flow of gauge do not change.
Jan 1961: 165 mil m3
Feb 1961: 172 mil m3
Jan 1962: 165 mil m3 (the same Jan 1961)
Feb 1962: 172 mil m3 (the same Feb 1961)
so i thought that has some problem when i setup model
could you please to help me!

Are you using the "streamflow gauge" to examine streamflow values? In WEAP, the streamflow gauge is meant to be a place to input observational data that can be compared against the modeled data. So it does not respond to any changes in the model because the model assumes it is external, observational data from the actual system.
To study changes in streamflow with respect to your reservoir, you will first need to tell WEAP how to simulate streamflow. There are two ways to do this:
1) Enter headflow into the river (see the WEAP tutorial chapter WEAP in One Hour - and also see the Scenarios Chapter section on the Water Year Method).
2) Model system hydrology - see the tutorial chapter Hydrology.
Also, because you are working with a historic model, I would recommend using the reference scenario to build the elements that actually existed in the historic time period. If you want to build something hypothetical, create a new scenario and build it there.
