When i run my model, I get a very high stream flow from certain catchments for the current account year. From the second or third year the flow becomes normal but the first year is in the order of 10-15 times my required flow. probably this is a common modelers mistake that i doing. Has someone had similar issues ?

Hello! I believe that is an issue on most hydrological models which occurs when you are forcing the inputs in order to achieve calibration. I believe you should check your parameter values first, in order to investigate whether or not there is consistency on your perceptions. If such does not work, you may analyze why the model structure is not reproducing well your study conditions.
