In weap, under watershed section we need to incorporate Max infiltration rate which is "Amount of water that can infiltrate into soil ver 24 hour period, and will vary according to soil type, slope, and rain intensity. If daily precipitation or irrigation exceeds this rate, the excess will runoff".
In our case, Maximum (initial) infiltration capacity of soil is 20.32 mm/hr.
So do we need to convert it for 24 hrs (20.32 X 24 = 487.7 mm/day)?
This value is very much on higher side as this area do not receive more than 40 mm rainfall in a day. In this case Runoff will always nill. Please suggest.
