I have River in my watershed, 3 wastewater treatment plants are dumping treated wastewater into the river.

I still haven't specified a head flow yet.

When I run the module it aggregates (adds) all the return flow of each month and put the sum in January on the stream flow curve, it also adds all the return flow from all the scenario years and put the sum in the first year (current account year).

In other words the stream flow in the river have only one value (the sum of all months) on the average monthly curve which is in January and have only one value (the sum of all scenario years) on the average annual curve which is only in the current accounts years.

What I was expecting is for the flow to be fluctuating between years and also between months, I mean each month should have a value and each year should have a value.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Actually it is also computing the return flow in a wrong way I don't know why, but when I computed it myself taking in consideration the consumption rate at the demand site, the consumption rate at the WWTP and the losses at the Demand site I found that the WEAP is giving me a really small amount for the return flow from the WWTP than the one I computed.

And as I stated before it also compute it for the first year (current account year) and for the first month of the this year.

I dont know if it is summing all the years in one year or all the months in one month as I stated in the previous massage, but what I sure of is I am not getting and variation in the return flow neither on a yearly basis nor on a monthly basis.

Please help me.

Hi Mohammed,

When I read your first question, I wondered if perhaps it has something to do with the way you're viewing the results. Do you by any chance have "Annual Total" or "Monthly Average" checked when you're looking at the results (they are at the top of the page with the other results menus).

For your second question, to check why the return flows are wrong, first look at the result:
Demand/Demand Sites Inflows and Outflows (and select the demand site you're examining). How much of the demand site's water is going to the WWTP?

If that's correct, next check the WWTP. In Results:
Water Quality/Wastewater Treatment Plant Inflows and Outflows.

That should at least tell you where the problem is occurring, and then we can think some more about it.
