We are pleased to announce the availability of version 2.1 of the WaterWorld-WEAP link tool. With this simple tool you can provide WEAP with streamflow data for baseline and scenario (i.e. climate or land/use management) conditions from WaterWorld.
WaterWorld (www.policysupport.org/waterworld) is a global hydrological model that can be run anywhere globally without users having to supply data. The model can be run at 1 hectare or 1-square km resolution for baseline (current) and (climate or land use/management) scenarios. WaterWorld can be used to generate runoff values for anywhere in your WEAP study area under current, scenario or policy intervention conditions. The resulting WaterWorld output can be fed directly to WEAP for understanding impacts of these conditions, scenarios or interventions on water resources planning.
The link tool has been developed by Arnout van Soesbergen and Mark Mulligan from King's College London and can be downloaded for free. For more info and to download the tool please see the blog post here:

There is no need to install. You can just unzip the downloaded file and run the application from the unzipped folder. Please have a look at the documentation and instruction video here:

Dears,
I am a researcher at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and I intend to integrate the software WEAP and WaterWorld to verify how forest restoration and climate change may affect the resilience of Rio Doce watershed. For this, I have installed WEAP in my computer and I have used the WaterWorld WEAP link tool as described by Mark Mulligan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wRMAxO1LsE). However, I could not create the "WEAPschematic"zip file as described in the video. In fact, I don’t know the exact reasons but the software provides the following error message:

I have tried to change the Windows version of my computer but it did not work. I have also tried other different schematics but it did not work too.
I’m a beginner in both softwares, so maybe this is a simple issue. Could someone help on it?
It would be awesome to receive some suggestions on how to fix it.

There is some kind of bug that the upload button is missing from the link. I have tried all the browsers but couldn't resolve this issue. Thanks
