Subject: Linking Transmission Losses

My watershed has significant transmission losses (40%) in both irrigation canals and water utility distribution. I would like to model part of these losses as "Loss to Groundwater" but WEAP says I have to assign a groundwater node for these losses. Being that both the source and the demand nodes are already linked, does that mean I have to specifically link "Transmission link from XXX to demand node XXX"? If so, in which column of the shapefile attribute table do I use? Demand?

Thanks!

Hey, so I just had an "Oh duh!" moment. It´s alot easier than I thought. No changes need to be made to the MODFLOW shapefile as I thought. To the left of the space where you assign the percentage lost from transmission to groundwater is a blank space with a drop-down option where you can select the WEAP (not MODFLOW) groundwater node (in my case I simply called it "Groundwater". Hopefully my dumb error will help the rest.
Saludos!
