I have an existing model, which I would like to extend its area.
The Set Area Boundaries allows changing only within the existing boundary.
Is it possible to enlarge my model spatially?

Dear Gilad,
If you click on 'Set Area Boundaries' (that you get by right clicking anywhere in your schematic), you can zoom out with the wheel of your mouse. If you don't have a mouse or a wheel on it, you can zoom out but moving leftwards the curser at the bottom left of the windows which appears when you click on 'Set Area Boundaries'.
You then need to redraw your area extent (the green box) as per your requirement.

If you cannot extend the Area Boundaries, it may be because you do not have a background GIS layer that includes the larger area. WEAP does not allow selecting a boundary beyond the extent of the largest background layer on your Schematic. If this is the problem, try adding the Country layer (in the WEAP Areas\_Maps\World folder) to your Schematic. (Note: This assumes the background layers you already have use the WGS 84 projection. If not, you will need a larger layer from whatever projection you are using.)

Hello,
I have some problem relating about background layers.
I have some vector and raster layers for my study area and I wanted to combine my layers with WEAP layers but i couldn't. But I tried to combine in GIS and that was OK, (these layers have same projection WGS 84 ). So I want to know is there any other limitation for GIS layers besides WGS 84.

I'm sorry that I don't really understand the problem you face.
I can only say that you cannot do any GIS operations in WEAP, you can only display GIS layers. So you cannot combine any GIS layers in WEAP (e.g., like merge layers like you would do in GIS), you can only open them and arrange the display of each layers as you wish.
Are you really sure that the layers are in geographic WGS84? Ie in your GIS, do you read the coordinates as latitude and longitude (and not for example as another referential system)?
