Dear WEAP Community Members

In September - October we will be offering several online, interactive basic WEAP trainings, to help beginners get started using WEAP. Each training will take place over three days, three hours per day (total of 9 hours in a training). The cost is $350.

We have scheduled four trainings. Two trainings will be conducted in English (16-18 September, 7-9 October), the two in Spanish (23-25 September, 30 September - 2 October). Space is limited to five people per session.

Here are descriptions for the trainings:

WEAP Beginner Course in English

This is a course that will cover the basic features of WEAP. The training will be conducted in English.

To prepare, you will need to have already downloaded and installed WEAP on your computer. You can download it from http://www.weap21.org/Download

In addition, attendees will need to download the WEAP Tutorial and review the syllabus for the course: http://www.weap21.org/Downloads/Syllabus_Introduction_to_WEAP_2014.pdf

This training meets 3 times. You are expected to attend all 3 sessions:

Session 1 (English): Tuesday, September 16, 2014, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time ), Wednesday, September 17, 2014, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PDT, Thursday September 17, 2014, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PDT.

Session 2 (Spanish): Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time ), Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM PDT, Thursday September 25, 2014, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM PDT.
