Hi,

Why does WEAP not appear to account for a transmission loss from the system?

The supply requirement in my model is unaffected by inclusion of a system loss along transmission links.

Thanks,

Mr. Jack Sieber

WEAP distinguishes between losses within a demand site and losses in transmission links. Supply requirements accounts for losses with a demand site, but not from transmission links. To see the transmission link losses, look either at the "Outflows from Area" report of the "Transmission Link Inflows and Outflows" report.
