Hi Jack, I´m a new user of weap and I´m trying to add a raster layer but when I add it, I can´t see the image and I would like to know what can I do for the image appear in the project window of weap?..

To use any raster image file in WEAP as a background on the map, you need a "world" file that georeferences the image. If you don't have a world file for your image, you can create one in any GIS package, such as QGIS or ArcGIS. For a TIFF file, the world file would be the same name but with ".tfw" as the extension. For a .jpg file, it would have a .jgw extension.)
To see an example, look in the _Maps\Tutorial subdirectory (within the WEAP Areas path) for the files Map.jpg and Map.jgw. These are used in the Tutorial, version "Data, Results and Formatting".

Hello Jack thank for response my question, nevertheless, I introduced a file in geographical coordinates in ArcGIS with extension .Shp and it does not appear in the window.. In this case, have I to return to create the world file but with the extensions that you said to me? or what can I do?

If the file has the extension .SHP, it is a vector shape file. Add it as a vector layer, not a raster layer.
For WEAP to display it, it must be in the same projection as your current layers. The default Country and River layers that come with WEAP are WGS 84 (latitude and longitude). If your shape file is in a different projection, either you need to re-project it, or remove the WEAP layers and use it instead.

I am trying to import .SHP file in WEAP. This shape file is in the same projection as WEAP i.e WGS-84 but it does not appear in the window of my selected area boundary. Please help.

Yes Jack, you are right. My .prj file states the following:
I have been trying hard to convert it to WGS-84 but unable to do so. Also I have some confusion of which zone of WGS-84 does it correspond to. I am using QGIS to get NAD converted to WGS-84 so that i can import it in WEAP but till now i have not been successful.

Are you sure it is not UTM? If there is a .prj file associated with the shape file, look at it (it is a text file). Does it mention UTM?
Here is an example of a .prj from a UTM shape file. Note that it says WGS_1984_UTM (from Zone 38, north of equator):

According to the .prj file you posted, it is zone 15, North of the equator. I do not have experience with QGIS, so I am unable to help you re-project this shape file to WGS84 unprojected.
Another approach would be to only use the UTM 38N projection for your WEAP area. You would add those shape files, then remove the included global shape files that come with WEAP (Countries, Rivers, Ocean). After removing these files, go to Set Area Boundaries and reset the boundaries of your area, using the newly added UTM 38N files.
